Getting practical with Copilot: our free session series
Artificial intelligence is everywhere right now, and Microsoft Copilot is fast becoming part of how Kiwi businesses get their work done. The trouble is, most of the noise is about what Copilot is, not how to actually use it.
That's exactly why we put together this series of free, bite-sized Copilot sessions. Each one is just 30 minutes, live over Teams, and focused on practical things you can apply straight away. No jargon, no lengthy theory, just real ways to save time in the tools you already use every day.
The sessions are designed for anyone using Copilot, and they're especially useful if you have a paid licence and want to get more value from it. There's no capacity limit, so you're welcome to share them with your wider team.
Here's what the series covers.
Copilot in Word & PowerPoint
Held Tuesday 26 May
Our first session looked at how Copilot takes the hard work out of writing and presenting. We covered drafting, rewriting and structuring content, creating slides faster, and turning rough ideas into polished, finished outputs. Ideal for anyone who spends their day in documents and decks.
Missed it? Get in touch and we'll share the recording with you.
Copilot in Excel & Outlook
Tuesday 9 June, 12:00 to 12:30pm NZST (online)
This one tackles two of the biggest time drains in most businesses: email and spreadsheets. We look at how Copilot can summarise long email threads, draft clearer replies, and help
tame inbox overload, plus how to use it in Excel to analyse data, spot trends, and build formulas without being an Excel expert.

A session for managers, team leads, and anyone juggling back to back meetings and conversations. We cover using Copilot in Teams to recap meetings, catch up on conversations you missed, and track actions, plus an introduction to Notebook to organise your ideas, notes, and AI outputs without the information overload.

Introduction to Copilot Cowork
Tuesday 7 July, 12:00 to 12:30pm NZST (online)
If you've started getting comfortable with Copilot inside Word, Excel and Teams, Cowork is the next step worth knowing about. Cowork is Microsoft's new AI teammate. It goes beyond answering questions to actually doing the work. Think of it as a coworker who can plan a task, work through the steps, and hand you back something finished. In this session we'll show you what Cowork is, where it fits alongside the Copilot you already use, and a few real examples of jobs it can take off your plate. Practical, plain English, no jargon.
