Introducing Shane Logue

 

Introducing the newest member to the team, Shane Logue who joined the Both Brains team as Support Technician in March 2021.

With previous work experience at Datacom, Vodafone, and Fujitsu, Shane brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team, previously providing support for a variety of companies including the Department of Conservation, Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) and WorkSafe NZ.

Q. What made you want to join the Both Brains team?

"After hearing about the work that Both Brains does and the technology being used to help power the companies that they support, I knew this was the place I wanted to continue my I.T journey with. Having come from supporting enterprise customers I know the importance of being up to date and the consequences and impacts of being left behind and Both Brains is doing some amazing work with the latest technology."


Q. Why IT?

"Since the beginning of high school, I have always played around with computers and technology in general. While I was in high school, I got an internship at Geeks on Wheels, and this is what made me decide to continue studying technology after high school transitioning my passion into my career."

 

Q. What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

"In my free time, I am mostly studying programming with my focus being on Python and automation. I believe automation is the future of the world in general and how technology can help us free up time for better things. I also enjoy a bit of gaming as well. My favorite game is Counter-Strike having just achieved 1000 game wins."
